Buffer

The free version of Buffer allows you to connect one type of account through a social network, such as a Facebook account, a Google+ account, an Instagram account, etc. Buffer is very didactic and intuitive and has an extension for Google Chrome (a fast browser), Firefox (multi-platform support), and Safari browsers, making using the software even faster. Despite being limited to 10 posts for almost all social networks, Buffer offers you the possibility to track the performance of your content and is available on iOS/Android operating systems.

Features

Buffer is a free social media scheduler that uses a calendar-like post scheduler like other popular social media management tools. You can create content directly in Buffer with customizable timestamps, add it to your posting schedule with custom parameters like days or hours before or after specific times, and manage all your social accounts from one central dashboard- even on devices that do not have internet access.

Pricing

Buffer offers a free plan with three social media channels and ten scheduled posts per channel. The free version does not include hashtag research, Instagram Stories, or Pinterest. The lack of hashtags is a drawback. The price for the full software suite is $15 per month, which puts Buffer on the more expensive side than Hootsuite and Later, which offer similar capacity for free users but are more flexible in terms of channels.
